Gordy’s Martini (or Martoony):
Besides his famous Manhattans. My father would also serve up his version of
a Martini, which he would sometimes call a Martoony. He would serve all his drinks in big water
glasses filled with ice. His Martoonys were not dry by any standards, but what they
lacked in alcohol content, they made up for in volume.
